California) - See all my reviews This review is from: Minox 8x33 High Grade Series Water Proof Roof Prism Aspherical Binocular with 7.5 Degree Angle of View (Electronics) These are built on a Magnesium chassis with a grey-black rubberized coating that makes for one of the lightest bins available; the view is as clear and precise as Zeiss Victory glass or Leica glass at a significantly discount to their pricing. I own three pairs of the Minox HG series bins because they to my eyes are best low light bins with each significantly less than a $800 price point if you shop them, well. Many Many have comlained that their field of view is narrow; That is the trade-off for the very wide bins like thae Fujinon, e.g., but, the weight and clarity of the Minox make them still preferable for my choice. Some of the Chinese bins like the Zen-Ray ED2 come close, but I still like the Minoz HG series over the ZR ED2 series. I own both and reach for the Minox HG first.Holding a very light Magnesium chassis to my eye allows with long eye relief lets a glasses wearer still use their corrective lenses with no problem; the lightness reduces shake and therefore...
